How to integrate a commerce solution

There are two ways to integrate a shop in the Website Editor. A shop can be created directly via the CMS using Ecwid. The tool is natively integrated into the Website Editor as well as the customer portal. If you want to create an Ecwid shop, click on the "Shop" category in the left sidebar.

Then you're ready to start selling! Find out more in our article on commerce integration with Ecwid.

Depending on the online shop solution, you can do this in different ways: embed the shop as an iframe with our special iframe element, via JavaScript, via a link, or you can get the custom code directly from the provider and integrate it via an HTML element. You can read more about this in our article about using custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code and in our article about integrating third-party e-commerce solutions.

We integrated Ecwid, one of the largest providers of Commerce solutions, directly into our website editor. If you want to add an Ecwid shop to your website, click on the "Shop" category of the left sidebar in the website editor and start by creating an Ecwid shop. You can find detail instructions on how to set up a store in our help article about setting up an Ecwid shop.

Is Ecwid part of Sitejet?

No, Ecwid is neither a product of nor a part of Sitejet, but is integrated and made available as a third-party tool within Sitejet. You are able to find out more about Ecwid from their website.
