Form entries

Setting up standard forms is quick and easy thanks to the Sitejet form element. But where does all the information go? In this article, we'll show you how to find the list of form entries and view the data submitted.

Basic knowledge

The Customer Portal provides your customer with all the information and features relating to their website. In the "Form entries" section, your customer can quickly and clearly see who contacted them and for what reason, whether it's a contact form submission or newsletter signup.

View form entries

As soon as a form element has been added to the website, your customer will have access to the "Form entries" section of the Customer Portal.

Incoming messages are listed here, as you can see in the image below.

The "Date" column indicates the time when the message was received. Under "Status" you can see at a glance whether the message has already been read or not.

On the right side of each message in the list, there are two links: "Delete message" and "Mark as read". If the message has already been read, you will see "Mark as unread".  This is useful, for example, if you want to remember to come back to the message later.

A click on the text in the "Message" column opens the form content so that you can read the complete form entry data:

Once the form content is expanded, the status is automatically changed to "read".
