How to activate email services for a domain
Email services are included in the hosting plan, so there will be no additional costs for activating the email services. Also, we do not set a limit for the number of accounts which means that you can offer your customers an unlimited number of email accounts (fair use policy). Please note that the size of email accounts per domain is limited to 25 GB. Need more than 25 GB? Contact us!
Also, the size of attachments is limited to 50MB when sending emails. Please note that the recipient's email account needs to allow attachment sizes of 50MB for a successful delivery. If the limit is below 50MB the email might not be delivered.
If you want to activate email services for a domain go to the domain manager and activate the checkbox for the respective domain.
If you want to use a domain solely for email services you can choose "Email only" under usage to ensure that the domain is not used as forwarding to the main domain.
Using email services when hosting externally
If you are hosting the domain with another provider you can also use the email services provided by Sitejet. Simply add the correct MX records to the DNS settings of that domain:
Name/Host | Type | Value | TTL |
@ (or blank) | MX | mx1.sitehub.io | 3600 |
@ (or blank) | MX | mx2.sitehub.io | 3600 |
@ (or blank) | TXT | v=spf1 mx -all | 3600 |
Where can I manage the email accounts?
You can add and manage email accounts in the customer portal of the website - you can find detailed instructions here.
