Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about the Sitejet website management tool.

How does Sitejet record the times in the individual project phases?

The system automatically records the time you spend working in the CMS. If you only have the system open but do not carry out any activity, this time is of course not counted.


How does communication with the customer work via Sitejet?

Efficient and transparent customer communication was particularly important to us when developing Sitejet. Instead of juggling different tools, you can use our integrated mail system to map all customer communication. Messages are stored on a project-related basis, making it even easier for you to keep track of everything. Customers can also use our feedback tool to mark change requests directly on the website so that you can implement to-dos quickly and without misunderstandings.


Can I also attach files in messages to customers?

Yes, you can. Simply open the email programme in CRM and write a message to the customer as usual. To do this, select ‘Message to customer’. You will now find the ‘Attachments’ field at the bottom. Here you can add attachments using drag and drop. You can find detailed instructions here.


Will I be notified when there are new to-dos?

Yes, you will be notified by email. The tasks are also displayed in the CRM so that you can manage them clearly there.


Can to-dos be linked directly to the CMS?

Yes, to-dos are listed and linked in the CMS under Website to-dos. Click on a to-do and the website jumps to the place where it should be edited - it couldn't be simpler!


Will I be notified when a customer sends me material?

Of course. You will be notified both by e-mail and in the CRM. In the CRM, the new to-do appears directly in the respective website project. You can also see incoming emails in your statistics dashboard in the CRM.


Can I access older projects if they have already been completed?

Yes, you can access your projects at any time. They are not deleted and remain saved in your account.


Do you offer a white label function?

Yes, we know how important it is for our community to appear to the outside world with its own CI. In the team and agency package, you can therefore brand your websites individually, right down to the domain, so that they can be accessed via my.amazing-agency.com instead of my.sitejet.io, for example. You can find more information about the white label function here.


Does the URL in the customer portal also change with the white label function?

Yes, with the white label function you create an all-round standardised and professional appearance. Customers can then reach the customer portal via your desired domain - according to the scheme my.deinedomain.de. We have compiled all the important information about white labelling here.
